An information processing apparatus comprising:

• one or more memory devices that store a set of instructions;
• and
• one or more processors that execute the set of instructions to
• obtain a first print setting of a predetermined image forming apparatus,
• obtain a power consumption indicating an amount of power consumed by all image forming apparatuses included in a group to which the predetermined image forming apparatus belongs,
• make a first determination about achievement of a power consumption reduction target for the group with use of the obtained power consumption, and
• generate, in accordance with a result of the first determination, a second print setting that enables a reduction in power consumption compared to a case where printing is performed using the first print setting.

A control method for an information processing system, the control method comprising:

• obtaining a first print setting of a predetermined image forming apparatus;
• obtaining a power consumption indicating an amount of power consumed by all image forming apparatuses included in a group to which the predetermined image forming apparatus belongs;
• making a first determination about achievement of a power consumption reduction target for the group with use of the obtained power consumption;
• and
• generating, in accordance with a result of the first determination, a second print setting that enables a reduction in power consumption compared to a case where printing is performed using the first print setting.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute each process of a control method for an information processing system, the control method comprising:

• obtaining a first print setting of a predetermined image forming apparatus;
• obtaining a power consumption indicating an amount of power consumed by all image forming apparatuses included in a group to which the predetermined image forming apparatus belongs;
• making a first determination about achievement of a power consumption reduction target for the group with use of the obtained power consumption;
• and
• generating, in accordance with a result of the first determination, a second print setting that enables a reduction in power consumption compared to a case where printing is performed using the first print setting.
