Method for providing channel profile and electronic device supporting the same

A terminal for providing a channel profile object, comprising:

• a memory storing instructions, and
• a processor configured to execute the instructions to:
• receive an interaction for activating a user interface comprising the channel profile object;
• and
• display the user interface on a screen of the terminal,
• wherein the user interface includes a region in which a plurality of profile objects is sequentially arranged and displayed,
• wherein the plurality of profile objects comprise at least one other user profile object updated within a preset period and at least one channel profile object corresponding to the at least one channel account,
• wherein the at least one updated other user profile object is a user profile object corresponding to at least one other account associated with an account of the terminal.

A method performed by a server for providing a channel profile object, comprising:

• identifying for at least one other user profile object that has been updated within a preset period, wherein the at least one updated other user profile object is a user profile object corresponding to at least one other account associated with an account of a terminal;
• providing the at least one updated other user profile object to the terminal;
• and
• providing at least one channel profile object corresponding to at least one channel account to the terminal, wherein a user interface of the terminal includes a region in which a plurality of profile objects is sequentially arranged and displayed, the plurality of profile objects comprising the at least one channel profile object and the at least one updated other user profile object.
