Abstract

A wearable electronic device is provided. The wearable electronic device includes a housing including a first housing structure, a second housing structure connected to the first housing structure, and a third housing structure, a first hinge driving module configured to connect a first side of the first housing structure and the second housing structure such that the first housing structure and the second housing structure are folded and unfolded, a second hinge driving module configured to connect a second side of the first housing structure and the third housing structure such that the first housing structure and the third housing structure are folded and unfolded, a hinge driving unit configured to drive the first hinge driving module and the second hinge driving module, a display arranged in the housing, a sensor module configured to sense an angle between housing structures and to sense a bending curvature of the display, memory including at least one storage media, storing instructions, and at least one processor, including a processing circuit, communicatively coupled to the memory, wherein, the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor individually or collectively, cause the wearable electronic device to detect a state in which the wearable electronic device is worn on a wrist of a user using the sensor module, identify an activity state of the user using the sensor module based on detecting the state in which the wearable electronic device is worn on the wrist of the user, and adjust at least one of the angle between the housing structures and the bending curvature of the display based on a change in the activity state of the user.
