Mobile stocker and methods of operation

A method, comprising:

• generating or obtaining, by a mobile stocker in a semiconductor fabrication facility, a navigation map of the semiconductor fabrication facility;
• determining, by the mobile stocker and based on the navigation map, a route from a first location in the semiconductor fabrication facility to a second location in the semiconductor fabrication facility;
• autonomously traveling, by the mobile stocker, from the first location to the second location based on the route;
• and
• after autonomously traveling to the second location, performing, by the mobile stocker, one or more operations associated with relocating the mobile stocker at the second location.

A method, comprising:

• receiving, by a mobile stocker, a communication indicating:
• a location identifier associated with a destination location of a semiconductor fabrication facility, and
• an instruction to travel to the destination location;
• determining, by the mobile stocker and based on the location identifier, the destination location;
• autonomously traveling, by the mobile stocker and based on the communication, from a current location to the destination location;
• and
• negotiating, by the mobile stocker and after autonomously traveling from the current location to the destination location, one or more parameters to facilitate providing or receiving transport carriers at the destination location.
