Abstract
A window assembly for sectional variable light transmission in an aerial vehicle includes a transmissivity adjustment layer divided into multiple adjacent sections arranged along an alignment axis. Each section can independently adjust its light transmissivity in response to a control signal. A controller is configured to sequentially apply individual control signals to each section, enabling a stepwise adjustment of light transmissivity along the alignment axis. This technology allows for precise and dynamic control of light entering the vehicle, enhancing passenger comfort and energy efficiency.
Claims15
A window assembly for sectional variable light transmission in an aerial vehicle, comprising:
- a transmissivity adjustment layer sectioned into a plurality of layer sections which are adjacent to one another, and along an alignment axis, and wherein each layer section is individually operable to adjust a light transmissivity of the layer section according to a control signal applied to the layer section;
- and
- a controller configured to sequentially apply an individual control signal to each layer section to generate a stepwise light transmissivity adjustment of the window assembly along the alignment axis.
