Abstract
The present disclosure shows a measurement application device comprising a signal interface which is configured to capture or generate a measurement signal, a signal analysis unit which is configured to analyze the measurement signal and output a corresponding analysis result, a function selection unit which is configured to select one or more function candidates based on the analysis result, and an output unit which is configured to output the function candidates. Furthermore, the present disclosure shows a corresponding method.

A measurement application device comprising:
- a signal interface configured to capture or generate a measurement signal;
- a signal analysis unit configured to analyze the measurement signal and output a corresponding analysis result;
- a function selection unit configured to select one or more function candidates based on the analysis result;
- and
- an output unit configured to output the function candidates.
A method for controlling a measurement application device, wherein the method comprises:
- capturing or generating a measurement signal;
- analyzing the measurement signal and outputting a corresponding analysis result;
- selecting one or more function candidates based on the analysis result;
- and
- outputting the function candidates.
