Automatic analyzer

An automatic analyzer comprising:

• an analyzing unit that makes a measurement of a sample contained in a sample tube;
• a display unit that displays a result of measurement by the analyzing unit;
• a transport unit that transports the sample tube to the analyzing unit;
• a camera that takes an image of the sample tube transported to the analyzing unit;
• and
• a control unit that analyzes the image of the sample tube which has been taken by the camera and, regarding the sample for which the measurement result is displayed, makes the display unit additionally display one or more icons based on an analysis result of the image of the sample tube containing the sample, wherein
• a measurement result display screen displayed on the display unit displays sample information on a sample measured by the analyzing unit, information on an analysis item requested for the sample, and sample status information based on the analysis result of the image of the sample tube containing the sample,
• multiple types of the icons are set, each having different graphic portions depending on the content of the analysis result of the image of the sample tubes, and
• the sample status information is displayed as one type of the icon or a combination of multiple types of the icons depending on the sample status information.
