Abstract
A plurality of containers are provided to allow a Chef to keep the amount, by volume or weight, of an ingredient in a recipe secret. The plurality of containers include a cavity to receive the ingredient and indicia on the container of the ingredient or a corresponding indicating indicia. Optionally, the indicia may include the recipe name. The amount, volume or weight, of the ingredient is unmark on any of the containers. In other words, there is no indicia of weight or volume on the containers.
Claims20
An apparatus to facilitate maintaining a recipe secret comprising:
- a plurality of containers, wherein,
- each container of the plurality of containers is associated with at least one ingredient of a recipe;
- each container of the plurality of containers has a bottom and at least one sidewall;
- each container of the plurality of containers has an indicia on the container associated with one ingredient of the recipe and no indicia indicative of the amount of the ingredient;
- and
- each container of the plurality of containers has a cavity defined in part by the bottom and the at least one sidewall to receive the one ingredient.
A method of making containers to facilitate making a recipe using ingredients of a known amount without disclosing the amount of the ingredient comprising:
- displaying, by a processing unit, a user interface configured to receive from a recipe owner;
- receiving, by the processing unit, data input at the user interface wherein the data received includes a plurality of ingredients and an ingredient amount for each ingredient of the plurality of ingredients;
- generating, by the processing unit, a container print file for each of the plurality of ingredients where the container print file creates an ingredient container having a defined cavity to receive the container that corresponds to the ingredient amount, but does not indicate the ingredient amount;
- transmitting, by the processing unit, the container print file to an additive manufacturing apparatus that is configured to print the containers from each container print file such that the container includes indicia of the ingredient but not the ingredient amount.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising a set of instructions that,
- when executed by one or more processors, cause a machine to:
- display a user interface to a recipe owner, where the user interface is configured to receive data including a plurality of ingredients and an ingredient amount for each of the plurality of ingredients;
- receive the data input by the owner of the recipe at the displayed user interface;
- generate a container print file for each of the plurality of ingredients associated with the data input by the owner of the recipe wherein the container print file is configured to cause an additive manufacturing device to build the container of the container print file with a cavity sized to receive the ingredient amount for the ingredient;
- and
- transmit each container print file to an additive manufacturing device configured to manufacture the container print file.
