Abstract
A refrigerator includes a transfer duct for transferring ice separated from an ice-making body to a cylinder, and a lever movably provided in the transfer duct to send ice in the transfer duct toward the cylinder. The lever includes a portion configured to contact ice or pressurize ice and to transfer the ice inside the transfer duct to an inlet side of the cylinder.

A refrigerator comprising:
- a cabinet that defines a storage space;
- a door configured to open and close at least a portion of the storage space;
- an ice-making body rotatably provided at the cabinet or the door, the ice-making body having a peripheral portion configured to receive water and to generate ice;
- a blade disposed at one side of the ice-making body and configured to separate the ice from the ice-making body;
- a cylinder that defines a compression space configured to receive and compress the ice separated by the blade;
- a piston configured to move toward the cylinder and to move away from the cylinder;
- and
- a lever configured to move relative to the cylinder and to guide the ice separated by the blade toward the cylinder based on the piston moving away from the cylinder.
