Abstract
An in-cabin imaging apparatus includes: a camera that captures an image in a vehicle cabin; a light emitting element that emits light into the vehicle cabin; a reflector that reflects light from the light emitting element; and a housing that houses the camera, the light emitting element, and the reflector. The reflector is generally tubular and is provided to surround the light emitting element, and an inner surface of the generally tubular reflector is a light reflective surface. The reflector has a cutout in a portion of a side surface thereof.

An in-cabin imaging apparatus comprising:
- a camera that captures an image in a vehicle cabin;
- a light emitting element that emits light into the vehicle cabin;
- a generally tubular reflector that is provided to surround the light emitting element and has a cutout in a portion of a side surface thereof;
- and
- a housing that houses the camera, the light emitting element, and the reflector.
