Method and system for performing simultaneous hydraulic fracturing operation

A method for performing hydraulic fracturing, the method comprising:

• (A) providing a plurality of wells, each of the plurality of wells having a production casing string, the production casing string having a plurality of openable sleeves adjacent to a reservoir, the production casing string having a first segment with a substantially similar nominal inner diameter of D1, the first segment having at least two openable sleeves;
• (B) performing one or more of steps (B1), (B2), and (B3) below simultaneously to the plurality of wells:
• (B1) pumping an isolation device to a designated sleeve of the plurality of sleeves in a designated well of the plurality of wells, the isolation device being at least partially dissolvable;
• (B2) with respect to a well to which step (B1) has already been performed, engaging the isolation device with the designated sleeve, thereby causing the designated sleeve to open, and isolating the open sleeve from the production casing string downhole of the open sleeve;
• and
• (B3) supplying a fracturing fluid to any designated well of the plurality of wells having an open sleeve, and allowing the fracturing fluid to enter the reservoir through the open sleeve;
• (C) detecting a status of any specific well of the plurality of wells;
• (D) registering the status of the specific well in a controller;
• (E) determining which step of (B1), (B2), or (B3) is to be performed on the specific well, and/or the timing and/or the duration thereof and/or a flow rate of the fracturing fluid, based at least partly on the detected status;
• and
• (F) performing the determined step to the specific well at the determined time for the determined duration and/or at the determined flow rate.

A controller system for a hydraulic fracturing system that performs hydraulic fracturing operations for a plurality of wells, each of the plurality of wells having a production casing string, the production casing string having a plurality of openable sleeves adjacent to a reservoir, the production casing string having a first segment with a substantially similar nominal inner diameter of D1, the first segment having at least two openable sleeves, the controller system comprising:

• (I) an isolation device controller and associated remotely operated valves that launches an isolation device to a designated sleeve of the plurality of sleeves in a designated well of the plurality of wells, the isolation device engaging with the designated sleeve, thereby causing the designated sleeve to open, and isolating the open sleeve from the production casing string downhole of the open sleeve;
• (II) a pump controller that controls pumps to supply a fracturing fluid to any designated well of the plurality of wells having an open sleeve, and allowing the fracturing fluid to enter the reservoir through the open sleeve;
• and
• (III) a master controller controlling the isolation device controller and the pump controller.
