Abstract
A downhole tool is provided. The downhole tool comprises a housing and a bit rotationally supported in said housing, wherein the bit comprises a bit head and a bit body. The bit body is attached to a rotational drive part, and the bit head is releasably connected to said bit body.

A downhole tool, comprising a housing and a bit supported in said housing, wherein the bit comprises a bit head having a first end and a second end and having a first longitudinal axis extending from the first end to the second end and a bit body having a first end and a second end and having a second longitudinal axis, said bit body being attached to a rotational drive part, wherein the bit head is releasably connected to said bit body and where the rotational drive part is configured to rotate the bit head along the first longitudinal axis
A method for a downhole tool comprising a housing and a bit supported in said housing, wherein the method comprises:
- accessing the bit comprising a bit head and a bit body,
- disassembling the bit head from said bit body while the bit body is securely attached to a rotational drive part, and
- releasably attaching a new bit head to said bit body.
