Multiwell pad drilling framework

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• memory accessible to at least one of the one or more processors;
• processor-executable instructions stored in the memory and executable to instruct the system to:
• render a graphical user interface to a display that comprises graphical controls for generation of a layout and geometries for well trajectories extending from a surface pad using a selected generation mode selected from an automated mode and a semi-automated mode;
• responsive to selection of the automated mode, implement a trained machine learning model that generates initial well trajectories, extending from the surface pad, shaped and dimensioned according to one or more anti-collision factors, and rendering a visualization of at least one of the initial well trajectories to the display;
• responsive to selection of the semi-automated mode, render graphical controls to the display for one or more of nudge inclination, nudge azimuth, and nudge kickoff point, receive one or more of nudge inclination, nudge azimuth, and nudge kickoff point and adjust one or more of the initial well trajectories according to the one or more of nudge inclination, nudge azimuth, and nudge kickoff point to generate adjusted well trajectories;
• and
• output specifications for the adjusted well trajectories.

One or more computer-readable storage media comprising processor-executable instructions to instruct a computing system to:

• render a graphical user interface to a display that comprises graphical controls for generation of a layout and geometries for well trajectories extending from a surface pad using a selected generation mode selected from an automated mode and a semi-automated mode;
• responsive to selection of the automated mode, implement a trained machine learning model that generates initial well trajectories, extending from the surface pad, shaped and dimensioned according to one or more anti-collision factors, and rendering a visualization of at least one of the initial well trajectories to the display;
• responsive to selection of the semi-automated mode, render graphical controls to the display for one or more of nudge inclination, nudge azimuth, and nudge kickoff point, receive one or more of nudge inclination, nudge azimuth, and nudge kickoff point and adjust one or more of the initial well trajectories according to the one or more of nudge inclination, nudge azimuth, and nudge kickoff point to generate adjusted well trajectories;
• and
• output specifications for the adjusted well trajectories.
