Abstract
There is provided an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene including an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene multifilament and a liquid paraffin having an average molecular weight of 400 or more. In the fused yarn thereof, a content of the liquid paraffin is more than 0% by weight and 13% by weight or less with respect to the entire yarn, and a content of the liquid paraffin present on a yarn surface is more than 0% by weight and 10% by weight or less.

An ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fused yarn comprising:
- an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene multifilament;
- and
- a liquid paraffin having an average molecular weight of 400 or more,
- wherein a content of the liquid paraffin is more than 0% by weight and 13% by weight or less with respect to the entire yarn, and a content of the liquid paraffin present on a yarn surface is more than 0% by weight and 10% by weight or less.
