The present invention provides a DNA aptamer which is capable of removing soluble FLT-1 (sFLT-1) in the blood more efficiently and specifically, is inexpensive, has uniform quality, and can be used more safely, as a device for removing the sFLT-1, as well as a carrier for separation having the DNA aptamer immobilized thereto. The present invention provides a DNA aptamer capable of selectively binding to the sFLT-1, including a base sequence containing an artificial base 7-(2-thienyl)-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]-pyridin-3-yl (Ds) at two positions. A carrier for use in an apheresis treatment having the DNA aptamer immobilized thereto is also provided.
A DNA aptamer capable of selectively binding to sFLT-1, comprising a base sequence containing an artificial base 7-(2-thienyl)-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]-pyridin-3-yl (Ds) at two positions, wherein the base sequence includes 13 to 18 bases between units of Ds at the two positions, and wherein at least one of the two units of Ds is located within a sequence forming a single strand upon formation of a tertiary structure.
