A transformant obtained by introducing a 3-dehydroshikimate dehydratase gene described in (a), (b), (c), (d), or (e) below into a Hydrogenophilus bacterium.
- (a) a DNA comprising the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1 or 3
- (b) a DNA comprising a nucleotide sequence having 90% or more identity with SEQ ID NO:
- 1 or 3 and encoding a polypeptide having 3-dehydroshikimate dehydratase activity
- (c) a DNA encoding a polypeptide comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2 or 4
- (d) a DNA encoding a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having 90% or more identity with SEQ ID NO:
- 2 or 4 and having 3-dehydroshikimate dehydratase activity
- (e) a DNA encoding a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence in which 1 to 60 amino acids are deleted, substituted, inserted, or added in the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 2 or 4, and having 3-dehydroshikimate dehydratase activity
