Abstract
The need for a cleaning product that combines a foam dispenser with a dishwashing composition that is capable of providing good cleaning while also providing both good initial sudsing and good enduring sudsing, is met by a cleaning product comprising a foam dispenser and a cleaning composition, the composition is housed in the foam dispenser and wherein the cleaning composition comprises a high amount of amphoteric surfactant, zwitterionic surfactant, and mixtures thereof, in combination with a limited amount, or no, anionic surfactant, and a linear alkanediol comprising from 6 to 14 carbon atoms.

A cleaning product comprising a foaming dispenser and a cleaning composition, the composition is housed in the foam dispenser and wherein the cleaning composition comprises:
- a. from about 2.0% to about 25% by weight of the composition of a surfactant system, wherein the surfactant system comprises:
- i. at least about 25% by weight of the surfactant system of amphoteric surfactant, zwitterionic surfactant, and mixtures thereof;
- ii. less than about 25% by weight of the surfactant system of anionic surfactant;
- and
- b. from about 0.1% to about 10% by weight of the composition of an alkanediol, wherein the alkyl chain of the alkanediol comprises from 6 to 14 carbon atoms, wherein the alkyl chain of the alkanediol is a linear alkyl chain.
