Environment-Friendly Thermoplastic Elastomer Composition and Article Produced Therefrom

Abstract

The thermoplastic elastomer composition of the present invention comprises: about 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic elastomer; about 3 to about 25 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin; about 50 to about 200 parts by weight of a vegetable oil having the thermal decomposition onset temperature of about 325 to about 365° C.; and about 5 to about 30 parts by weight of an inorganic filler. The thermoplastic elastomer composition exhibits excellent environmentally friendliness, thermal decomposition stability, moldability, slip properties, and low hardness characteristics, and enables the reduction of unpleasant odors.
