Abstract
The present disclosure provides cleavable crosslinkers, curable compositions comprising the same, and methods of forming 3D printed objects from the curable compositions, wherein the degree of crystallinity of the 3D printed objects is controlled through the cleavable crosslinkers.
Claims30
A curable composition, comprising:
- a polymerizable compound;
- and
- a trioxane-containing crosslinker,
- wherein the curable composition is capable of forming a polymeric material by 3D printing.

2-45. (canceled)
A polymeric material, comprising:
- a first polymer chain;
- a second polymer chain;
- and
- a trioxane-containing crosslinking unit, the trioxane-containing crosslinking unit having a first end attached to the first polymer chain and a second end attached to the second polymer chain.
1 more element
47-69. (canceled)
A method of forming an object by a 3D printing process, comprising:
- curing a curable composition comprising a trioxane-containing crosslinker to form a first crosslinked polymeric material having a first crosslinking density, the first crosslinked polymeric material comprising trioxane-containing crosslinking units;
- and
- partially decrosslinking the first crosslinked polymeric material by decomposing trioxane in the trioxane-containing crosslinking units to form a second crosslinked polymeric material having a second crosslinking density less than the first crosslinking density.
