Abstract
The present invention relates to a polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer including: a polycarbonate block containing a structural unit (A-1) represented by the following formula (1); and a polyorganosiloxane block containing a structural unit (A-2) represented by the following formula (2), the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer satisfying the following conditions (I) and (II), and to a polycarbonate-based resin composition including the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer and a molded body including the polycarbonate-based resin composition.
Claims11
A polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer, comprising:
- a polycarbonate block comprising a structural unit (A-1) represented by the following formula (1);
- and
- a polyorganosiloxane block comprising a structural unit (A-2) represented by the following formula (2),
- the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer satisfying the following conditions (I) and (II):
- wherein
- in the formula (2), R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, or an alkylaryl group having 7 to 22 carbon atoms, and “a” represents an integer of from 2 to 500;
- Condition (I):
- a Charpy impact strength of a molded piece obtained by molding the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer to provide a strip-shaped molded piece having a length of 80 mm, a width of 10 mm, and a thickness of 3 mm, and making a notch (r=0.25 mm±0.05 mm) in the strip-shaped molded piece by a post-process is 15 KJ/m2 or more, the Charpy impact strength being measured under a condition of a measurement temperature of 23° C. in conformity with ISO 179-1:2010;
- and
- Condition (II):
- a scratch hardness (pencil method) of a molded body of the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer is HB or more, the scratch hardness being measured in conformity with JIS K 5600 May 4:1999.
