A method for producing an aqueous dispersion, which comprises: polymerizing a first monomer containing tetrafluoroethylene in the presence of a compound represented by the formula (X) and a polymerization initiator, in the presence of an aqueous medium and substantially in the absence of an emulsifier having a fluorine atom, to produce an aqueous dispersion that contains particles of a first fluorinated polymer having no melting point, the particles having an average particle size of 500 nm or less: C(X1)(X2)═C(X3)-L-Z (X); in the formula (X), X1, X2 and X3 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a perfluoromethyl group or an alkyl group, L is a single bond or a bivalent linking group, and Z is an anionic group or a salt of the anionic group.
A method for producing an aqueous dispersion, which comprises:
An aqueous dispersion, which contains substantially no water-soluble emulsifier having a fluorine atom, and which contains particles of a fluorinated polymer and an aqueous medium,
A solid composition which contains a fluorinated polymer having no melting point,
