Abstract
A fiber material for cement/concrete reinforcement obtained by recycling scraps of a carbon fiber-reinforced resin generated in the manufacturing process of a molded product using the carbon fiber-reinforced resin, or waste of the carbon fiber-reinforced resin recovered from the molded product, wherein the fiber material is formed into strips and the thermosetting resin is cured. The fiber material is inexpensively and efficiently obtained, and versatile and practical for cement/concrete reinforcement from TPP scraps or CFRP waste.
Claims10
A fiber material for cement/concrete reinforcement, obtained by recycling scraps of a carbon fiber-reinforced resin generated in the manufacturing process of a molded product using the carbon fiber-reinforced resin, or waste of the carbon fiber-reinforced resin recovered from the molded product,
- wherein the fiber material is formed into strips, and the thermosetting resin is cured.
A method for producing a fiber material for cement/concrete reinforcement, the fiber material being obtained by recycling scraps of a carbon fiber-reinforced resin generated in the manufacturing process of a molded product using the carbon fiber-reinforced resin, or waste of the carbon fiber-reinforced resin recovered from the molded product, the method comprising:
- a curing step of curing the thermosetting resin in an uncured state, and
- a cutting step of cutting the scraps or the waste into strips,
- wherein the curing step and the cutting step are carried out in no particular order.
