Abstract

A fireproof liquid or paste is taught comprising a drywall powder; and a fireproof adhesive. A dry mixture is further taught, comprising a gypsum powder at least in part derived from a gypsum component of drywall; and a fibre component at least partly from backing or facing papers of drywall. The fibrous component provides the structural integrity to the dry mixture. A fireproof construction panel or tile is further provided, comprising a gypsum powder at least in part derived from a gypsum component of drywall; a fibre component at least partly from backing or facing papers of drywall; one or more binding agents; and one or more lightening materials. The fibrous component provides the bulk density and structural integrity to the construction panel or tile.
