Abstract
A recycled lithium carbonate has an L value of about 96.5 to about 100.8 according to a colorimetric system, and a b value of about 0.2 to about 3.0 according to a colorimetric system. The recycled lithium carbonate may be used in a positive electrode active material for a rechargeable lithium battery.
