Abstract
A fluid dispenser includes a first sensor, a second sensor, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine a brim height of a vessel based on data from the first sensor, determine a target fill level based on the brim height, determine a fluid level inside the vessel based on data from the second sensor, and dispense fluid into the vessel until the fluid level reaches the target fill level.

A fluid dispenser comprising:
- a first sensor directed horizontally;
- a second sensor directed vertically;
- and
- a processor configured to
- determine a brim height of a vessel based on data from the first sensor,
- determine a target fill level based on the brim height,
- determine a fluid level inside the vessel based on data from the second sensor, and
- dispense fluid into the vessel until the fluid level reaches the target fill level.

A fluid dispenser comprising:
- a frame including a bridge portion and a post;
- a base connected to the post;
- a fluid level sensor supported by the bridge portion;
- a fluid outlet supported by the bridge portion proximate to the fluid level sensor;
- a horizontal detection sensor supported by the post;

- a processor configured to cause the fluid dispenser to fill a vessel with a fluid dispensed from the fluid outlet to a target fluid level of the vessel based on data from the fluid level sensor and the horizontal detection sensor.

- placing the vessel into a fluid dispenser;
- determining a brim height of the vessel with a first sensor;
- determining an actual fluid level of the fluid within the vessel with a second sensor;
- determining a target fill level based on the brim height and a predetermined offset value;

- dispensing the fluid into the vessel until the actual fluid level reaches the target fill level.
