Thermal Dampening Device For A Beverage Container

A thermal dampening device consisting of:

• a base plate having a rectangular shape and being rectangular in cross-section, the base plate having a first base edge and a second base edge, the first base edge and the second base edge being adjacent to each other;
• a first sidewall formed as a solid plate extending from the first base edge of the base plate, the first sidewall having a first end at the base plate and a second end opposite the base plate, the first sidewall further comprising a pair of vertical edges extending between the first end and the second end;
• and
• a second sidewall formed as a solid plate extending from the second base edge of the base plate, the second sidewall having a first end at the base plate and a second end opposite the base plate, the second sidewall further comprising a pair of vertical edges extending between the first end and the second end;
• wherein:
• the base plate, the first sidewall, and the second sidewall are integral and monolithic,
• the first sidewall is orthogonal to the base plate and the second sidewall, and the second sidewall is orthogonal to the base plate and the first sidewall,
• one vertical edge of the pair of vertical edges of the first sidewall is connected to one vertical edge of the pair of vertical edges of the second sidewall,
• the first sidewall and the second sidewall each comprise a first layer of material and a second layer of material, the first layer of material being aluminum, and the second layer of material being a ceramic coating.
