Abstract
A shipping container includes a body, a platform, and a cover. The body includes a base, a first side panel, a second side panel, a third side panel, and a fourth side panel. The first, second, third, and fourth side panels extend perpendicularly from the base such that the first, second, third, and fourth side panels define a cavity within the body. The platform extends from the first side panel. The platform is configured to fold over the cavity. The cover extends from the second side panel, the cover configured to enclose the body.
Claims20
A shipping container comprising:
- a body including,
- a base,
- a first side panel,
- a second side panel,
- a third side panel, and
- a fourth side panel, the first, second, third, and fourth side panels extending perpendicularly from the base such that the first, second, third, and fourth side panels define a cavity within the body;
- a platform extending from the first side panel, the platform configured to fold over the cavity;
- and
- a cover extending from the second side panel, the cover configured to enclose the body.
A blank for a shipping container, the blank having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, the blank comprising:
- a main body including,
- a main panel having a first fold line, a second fold line opposite the first fold line, a third fold line, and a fourth fold line opposite the third fold line,
- a first side panel extending from the first fold line,
- a second side panel extending from the second fold line,
- a third side panel extending from the third fold line,
- a fourth side panel extending from the fourth fold line, and
- the main body configured to fold at the first fold line, the second fold line, the third fold line, and the fourth fold line such that the first side panel, the second side panel, the third side panel, and the fourth side panel are perpendicular to the main panel and define a cavity;
- and
- a top platform extending from a top fold line of the third side panel and configured to fold at the top fold line of the third side panel such that the first surface of the top platform is positioned toward the cavity;
- and
- a cover extending from a top fold line of the fourth side panel and configured to fold at the top fold line of the fourth side panel such that the first surface of the cover is positioned toward the second surface of the top platform when the first surface of the top platform is positioned toward the cavity.
