Abstract
A leading edge of an aircraft part, at least including a base layer, a functional layer applied on the base layer, and a final layer applied on the functional layer, wherein the functional layer includes in each case at least one first layer formed from carbon nanotubes, and at least one second layer formed from titanium particles and or from titanium nitride particles, wherein the carbon nanotubes are provided to electrically conductively connect the titanium particles and/or titanium nitride particles of the at least one second layer, and also to a process for forming such a leading edge.
Claims11
A leading edge of an aircraft part, comprising:
- a base layer;
- a functional layer applied on the base layer;
- and
- a final layer applied on the functional layer,
- the functional layer comprising in each case at least one first layer formed from carbon nanotubes and at least one second layer formed from titanium particles and/or from titanium nitride particles and the carbon nanotubes are provided to electrically conductively connect the titanium particles and/or titanium nitride particles of the at least one second layer.
A process for forming a leading edge of an aircraft part, comprising:
- providing a base layer;
- forming a functional layer through sequential deposition of carbon nanotubes on the base layer and sequential deposition of titanium particles and titanium nitride particles on the deposited carbon nanotubes to form layers electrically conductively connected to the carbon nanotubes;
- and
- forming a final layer through deposition of titanium particles on the functional layer.
