Abstract
A bassinet for aircraft is disclosed. The bassinet includes a frame having a first frame component for connecting to an interior wall of the aircraft, and a second frame component movably connected to the first frame component for moving the second frame component between a folded position proximal to the first frame component and a deployed position distal from the first frame component. The second frame component includes one or more portions that, when the second frame component is in the deployed position, are substantially at a same level as one or more portions of the first frame component with respect to a floor of the aircraft, and a basket for connecting to the first and second frame components.

A bassinet for aircraft, the bassinet comprising:
- a frame comprising:
- a first frame component for connecting to an interior wall of the aircraft, and
- a second frame component movably connected to the first frame component for moving the second frame component between a folded position proximal to the first frame component and a deployed position distal from the first frame component,
- wherein the second frame component includes one or more portions that, when the second frame component is in the deployed position, are substantially at a same level as one or more portions of the first frame component with respect to a floor of the aircraft;
- and
- a basket for connecting to the first and second frame components.
