Translation of a center wall converts an aircraft lavatory between a dual lavatory configuration and a single lavatory configuration. A latch system for the center wall may have a handle configured to operate a plurality of latches simultaneously. The handle may be disposed on a front edge of the center wall. The latch system may comprise an internal plate and a longitudinal member translatable with respect to the internal plate. A first vertical rod and a second vertical rod may extend from the internal plate to a ceiling latch and a floor latch, respectively. A horizontal rod may extend from the internal plate to a rear latch. Operation of the handle may translate the longitudinal member, which may, in turn, translate each of the first vertical rod, the second vertical rod, and the horizontal rod to operate the ceiling latch, the floor latch, and the rear latch, respectively.
