Method and system for providing assistance data for at least one passenger-owned device in an aircraft

A system for providing assistance data for at least one passenger-owned device in an aircraft, comprising:

• at least one in-aircraft software-implemented platform;
• an in-aircraft first data interface coupled to the software-implemented platform and configured to provide real-time data indicative for at least one of an aircraft context and a cabin context of the aircraft, or a ground-bound second data interface configured to provide a static data descriptive for at least one of cabin characteristics of the aircraft and in-flight service offerings, and process, or both;
• and
• at least one passenger-owned device configured to connect to the first data interface to receive the real-time data, or to the second data interface to receive the static data, or to both, and process, by at least one accessibility application running on the at least one passenger-owned device, at least one of the real-time data and the static data to generate the assistance data.
