Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a surf craft comprising one or more illuminated regions on an underside of the surf craft, the underside defining a surface that faces a body of water in use. The disclosure also relates to a method of reducing interactions with sharks, the method comprising arranging one or more illuminated portions on an underside of a surf craft, the underside defining a surface that faces a body of water in use, and a system for reducing interaction of sharks with a surf craft, the system comprising arranging one or more lights on at least a portion of downward facing surfaces of the surf craft, the one or lights being arranged such that the surf craft is counter-illuminated.
