Abstract
A bimini cover bundling strap is disclosed, and may include a main body, a clip, and a boat connection snap button component. The clip may include opposing components each positioned apart from each other on the main body. The boat connection snap button component may be configured to couple to a corresponding snap button component in a windshield portion of a boat. The bimini cover bundling strap may be configured to wrap the main body around a bimini cover structure in a stowed configuration such that the bimini cover bundling strap may connect to itself by way of the clip and form a loop.
Claims20
A bimini cover bundling strap comprising:
- a main body;
- a clip having opposing components each positioned apart from each other on the main body;
- and
- a boat connection snap button component configured to couple to a corresponding snap button component in a windshield portion of a boat,
- wherein the bimini cover bundling strap is configured to wrap the main body around a bimini cover structure in a stowed configuration such that the bimini cover bundling strap may connect to itself by way of the clip and form a loop.
A bimini cover stowing system comprising:
- a strap including:
- a loop portion configured to form a loop around a bimini cover structure in a stowed configuration;
- and
- a coupling portion configured to couple to a windshield portion of a boat,
- wherein the strap is configured to wrap around the bimini cover structure and to couple to the windshield portion of the boat when the bimini cover structure is in stowed configuration in a forward position.
A method of stowing a bimini cover installed on a boat, the method comprising:
- folding the bimini cover such that the bimini cover is in a stowed configuration in a forward position;
- wrapping a strap around a structure of the bimini cover;
- and
- coupling the strap to a windshield portion of the boat, such that the bimini cover remains in the forward position when the strap is coupled to the windshield of the boat.
