Method for manufacturing a rear part structure for a vehicle body

A rear part structure for a vehicle body, the rear part structure comprising:

• a die casted base part made from metal, wherein the base part comprises a sleeve portion comprising a first wall and a second wall, wherein the first and second walls are arranged opposite of one another, and wherein the first wall has no draft angle or a first draft angle of the first wall that is smaller than a second draft angle of the second wall;
• and
• an extruded part, wherein a first end portion of the extruded part is inserted in between the opposite walls and attached to the base part, wherein the extruded part comprises a second end portion opposite of the first end portion for attachment to a bumper of the vehicle body.

A vehicle comprising a vehicle body, the vehicle body comprising a rear part structure comprising:

• a die casted base part made from metal, wherein the base part comprises a sleeve portion comprising a first wall and a second wall, wherein the first and second walls are arranged opposite of one another, and wherein the first wall has no draft angle or a first draft angle of the first wall that is smaller than a second draft angle of the second wall;
• and
• an extruded part, wherein a first end portion of the extruded part is inserted in between the opposite walls and attached to the base part, wherein the extruded part comprises a second end portion opposite of the first end portion for attachment to a bumper of the vehicle body.
