Abstract
A dashboard cross member lower extending along a vehicle width direction is arranged at a front section and lower side of a vehicle cabin of a vehicle, with a shock absorption member provided inside the dashboard cross member lower. Crash energy from collision load is accordingly absorbed by plastic deformation of the shock absorption member together with the dashboard cross member lower when collision load has been input from the vehicle front.

A vehicle frame structure comprising:
- a lower vehicle frame member that is either arranged extending along a vehicle width direction at a vehicle front-rear direction front section of a vehicle cabin and at a lower side of the vehicle cabin, or arranged extending along the vehicle width direction at the vehicle front-rear direction front section of the vehicle cabin and at a lower section of the vehicle cabin;
- and
- a first shock absorption section that is provided to the lower vehicle frame member.
