Abstract
A vehicle including a processor and a memory is disclosed. The processor may identify that the vehicle is entering a beach environment, and activate a beach mode responsive to identifying that the vehicle is entering the beach environment. The processor may predict a shoreline on the beach at a given time when the beach mode is activated, and determine a probability of the vehicle interacting with water at a given location on the beach based on the shoreline. Based on the probability, the processor may cause the vehicle to perform a predefined action.
Claims20
A vehicle comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory for storing instructions, the processor executing the instructions to:
- identify that the vehicle is entering a beach environment;
- activate a beach mode responsive to identifying that the vehicle is entering the beach environment;
- predict a location of a shoreline on a beach at a given time, when the beach mode is activated;
- determine a probability of the vehicle interacting with water at a given location on the beach based on the location of the shoreline;
- and
- cause the vehicle to perform a predefined action based on the probability.
A method comprising:
- identifying, by a processor, that a vehicle is entering a beach environment;
- activating, by the processor, a beach mode responsive to identifying that the vehicle is entering the beach environment;
- predicting, by the processor, a location of a shoreline on a beach at a given time, when the beach mode is activated;
- determining, by the processor, a probability of the vehicle interacting with water at a given location on the beach based on the location of the shoreline;
- and
- causing, by the processor, the vehicle to perform a predefined action based on the probability.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereupon which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:
- identify that a vehicle is entering a beach environment;
- activate a beach mode responsive to identifying that the vehicle is entering the beach environment;
- predict a location of a shoreline on a beach at a given time, when the beach mode is activated;
- determine a probability of the vehicle interacting with water at a given location on the beach based on the location of the shoreline;
- and
- cause the vehicle to perform a predefined action based on the probability.
