Abstract
An aperture cover to at least partially obstruct the space between a slide member and a wall opening through which the slide member extends for in-and-out movement relative to the wall opening. The cover includes a plate having a width and a height larger than a width and height of the wall opening. The plate includes an opening sized to closely fit transversely on the slide member. The cover includes at least one magnet secured to the plate between an edge of the plate and the plate opening.
Claims25
An aperture cover to at least partially obstruct the space between a slide member and a wall opening through which the slide member extends for in-and-out movement relative to the wall opening, the cover comprising:
- a plate having a width and a height larger than a width and height of the wall opening, wherein the plate includes an opening sized to closely fit transversely on the slide member;
- and
- at least one magnet secured to the plate between an edge of the plate and the plate opening.
An aperture cover to at least partially obstruct the space between a slide member and a metal frame wall opening through which the slide member extends for in-and-out movement relative to the metal frame wall opening on a recreational vehicle, the cover comprising:
- a flexible plate having a width and a height larger than a width and height of the wall opening, wherein the plate includes an opening sized to closely fit transversely on the slide member, the plate having a slot from the plate opening to an edge of the plate;
- and
- at least two magnets secured to the plate between an edge of the plate and the plate opening, the magnets being secured on opposite sides of the plate opening.
A system for at least partially obstructing the space between a slide member and an opening in a surface through which the slide member extends for in-and-out movement relative to the opening, the system comprising:
- a metal plate having a width and a height larger than a width and height of the opening in the surface, wherein the metal plate includes an opening sized to closely fit transversely on the slide member;
- and
- at least one magnet secured to the surface,
- wherein the metal plate is magnetically attracted to the at least one magnet such that the metal plate and the at least one magnet are slidably coupled.
