Abstract
Tender trailers for agricultural machines include a chassis, a tender arm assembly, and a coupling system. The tender arm assembly is coupled to the chassis and guides a hose extending from the tender trailer toward the agricultural machine. The coupling system is coupled to the hose and supported by the tender arm assembly.
Claims20
A tender arm system for use with a work machine, the tender arm system comprising:
- a tender arm assembly configured to guide a hose;
- and
- a coupling system supported by the tender arm assembly that is configured to retract the hose to locate a first coupler connected to the hose relative to a second coupler supported by the work machine and to facilitate connection between the first coupler and the second coupler, wherein the coupling system includes a carrier structure coupled to the tender arm assembly proximate an end thereof that is arranged for interaction with the first coupler, and wherein the carrier structure includes a carrier bracket sized to at least partially receive the first coupler and a ramp pivotally coupled to the carrier bracket that extends oblique to the carrier bracket.
A tender trailer for a work machine, the tender trailer comprising:
- a chassis;
- a tender arm assembly coupled to the chassis that is configured to guide a hose extending from the tender trailer toward the work machine;
- and
- a coupling system supported by the tender arm assembly that is configured to locate a first coupler connected to the hose relative to a second coupler supported by the agricultural machine, wherein the coupling system includes a carrier structure coupled to the tender arm assembly that has a ramp, and wherein the first coupler is slidable along the ramp to position the first coupler relative to the second coupler.

A coupling system for use with a tender arm assembly, the coupling system comprising:
- a first coupler connectable to a hose supported by the tender arm assembly;
- and
- a carrier structure connectable to the tender arm assembly that has a ramp,
- wherein the first coupler is slidable along the ramp in use of the coupling system to position the first coupler relative to a second coupler supported by a work machine.
