Device, system, and/or method for securing a motorcycle

An apparatus for securing a peg of a motorcycle, the apparatus comprising:

• a member extending a first length,
• a peg housing at least one of coupled to the member and integrated into the member comprising an enclosure comprising a first opening on one side configured to receive a peg of the motorcycle from a direction of travel of the motorcycle and a second opening facing the motorcycle through which the peg protrudes when the peg is housed in the enclosure,
• wherein the encloser comprising a ceiling and a forward wall, and
• a peg retainer mechanically coupled to the member comprising a peg retention pad engageable to cover the first opening of the peg to apply a forward force on the peg counteracted by a backward reaction force from the forward wall, to assist in retaining the peg of the motorcycle in the peg retainer,
• wherein the motorcycle is at least one of a sport bike and a dirt bike.

A rack for securing a bike, comprising:

• a first peg housing for receiving a first peg of the motorcycle comprising a first encloser,
• a second peg housing coupled to the first peg housing at a fixed distance for receiving a second peg of the motorcycle comprising a second enclosure,
• a brace coupled to the first peg housing and the second peg housing for applying an upward force on the motorcycle, and
• wherein the first peg housing and the second peg housing configured to resist the upward force with a downward reaction force to secure the motorcycle in the rack while minimizing depression of a suspension of the motorcycle.
