An in-vehicle cutoff device is to be mounted in a vehicle including: a power storage unit and a conductive path provided between the power storage unit and a transfer target that transfers power to and from the power storage unit. The in-vehicle cutoff device includes a cutoff unit and a switching unit. The cutoff unit is provided on the conductive path and is configured to switch from a permissive state where current is permitted to flow through the conductive path to a cutoff state. The switching unit is configured to switch the cutoff unit to the cutoff state based on a result of comparison between a current flowing through a first positive-side conductive path and a second positive-side conductive path included in the conductive path and a current flowing through a first negative-side conductive path and a second negative-side conductive path included in the conductive path.
