Method for Operating a High Voltage System of a Mobile Work Machine

Abstract

A method for operating a high voltage system of a mobile work machine is disclosed. The high voltage system includes an intermediate circuit and at least two high voltage components connected to the intermediate circuit, configured for energy exchange with the intermediate circuit. The high voltage system further includes a control system, configured to control the high voltage components. The control system includes at least two network connected electronic devices, configured to communicate by way of electronic messages. The method includes a) detecting an electronic communication fault between the electronic devices of the control system that impairs control of the high voltage system, and b) deactivating the high voltage components or decoupling the high voltage components from the intermediate circuit, so that the power flows between the high voltage components and the intermediate circuit are minimized, when in step a) a fault was detected that impairs the control of the high voltage system, wherein deactivating or decoupling the high voltage components occurs at least partially sequentially in an order by the control system taking into account at least one time interval.
