Abstract

A vehicle thermal management system includes: a first coolant circuit including a range extender, a thermostat, a first pump, a heater, a heater core, and a second pump, which are connected through a first coolant line; and a second coolant circuit including a battery, a heat exchanger, and a third pump, which are connected through a second coolant line. In particular, the first coolant circuit further includes a first coolant bypass line having one end connected to the first coolant line between the thermostat and the first pump and another end connected to the first coolant line between the heater core and the second pump, and the heat exchanger is disposed on the first coolant bypass line and performs heat exchange between the first coolant circuit and the second coolant circuit.
