Abstract
A double-sided reusable cliché tape for removably attaching a flexographic printing cliché on a printing cylinder or printing sleeve is provided. Further, a method for producing printed matter by flexographic printing using the double-sided reusable cliché tape, and use of the double-sided reusable cliché tape for producing printed matter by flexographic printing is provided.

A double-sided reusable cliché tape for removably attaching a flexographic printing cliché on a printing cylinder or printing sleeve, comprising:
- (i) an adhesive layer on a cylinder side of the cliché tape;
- (ii) a foam layer comprising a polyethylene (PE) or polyurethane (PU) foam;
- (iii) a reinforcing layer comprising a polyester film;
- and
- (iv) a layer of a photopolymer compound on a cliché side of the cliché tape,
- wherein the photopolymer compound is used as a pressure-sensitive adhesive for attaching the printing cliché on the cliché tape using adherent and sticky characteristics of the photopolymer compound, and
- wherein the foam layer has a thickness in the range of 150-500 μm.
A double-sided reusable cliché tape for removably attaching a flexographic printing cliché on a printing cylinder or printing sleeve, comprising:
- (i) an adhesive layer on a cylinder side of the cliché tape;
- (ii) a film layer;
- and
- (iv) a layer of a photopolymer compound on a cliché side of the cliché tape,
- wherein the photopolymer compound is used as a pressure-sensitive adhesive for attaching the printing cliché on the cliché tape using adherent and sticky characteristics of the photopolymer compound, and
- wherein the film layer has a thickness in the range of 23-370 μm.
