A printer includes a storage unit configured to store a roll paper; a feeding unit configured to draw out and feed a paper sheet from an outer periphery of the stored roll paper; a printing unit configured to perform printing on the fed paper sheet; and a supporting unit disposed in the storage unit, and configured to rotatably support the stored roll paper and mitigate a drop impact from the roll paper.

A printer comprising:
- a storage unit configured to store a roll paper;
- a feeding unit configured to draw out and feed a paper sheet from an outer periphery of the stored roll paper;
- a printing unit configured to perform printing on the fed paper sheet;
- and
- a supporting unit disposed in the storage unit, and configured to rotatably support the stored roll paper and mitigate a drop impact from the roll paper.
