Abstract
A drive waveform generator includes processing circuitry to generate a drive waveform including a plurality of driving pulses to be applied to a liquid discharge head, and the driving pulses include a combination of a discharge pulse to cause a liquid to be discharged and an excitation pulse not to cause the liquid to be discharged after the discharge pulse, for liquid discharge of a first drop, and the discharge pulse, for liquid discharge of a second drop.

A drive waveform generator comprising
- processing circuitry configured to generate a drive waveform including a plurality of driving pulses to be applied to a liquid discharge head,
- the plurality of driving pulses including:
- a combination of a discharge pulse to cause a liquid to be discharged and an excitation pulse not to cause the liquid to be discharged after the discharge pulse, for liquid discharge of a first drop;
- and
- the discharge pulse, for liquid discharge of a second drop.
