Recyclable packaging film and package

A recyclable packaging film comprising:

• a multilayer polyethylene-based film comprising a first outer layer comprising a first outer surface of the multilayer polyethylene-based film, and a second outer layer comprising a second outer surface of the multilayer polyethylene-based film;
• a release over lacquer layer comprising a first exterior surface of the recyclable packaging film;
• an ink layer positioned between the first outer surface of the multilayer polyethylene-based film and the release over lacquer layer;
• and
• a patterned sealable material layer positioned on the second outer surface of the multilayer polyethylene-based film comprising a second exterior surface of the recyclable packaging film;
• wherein the multilayer polyethylene-based film comprises a polyethylene-based polymer content comprising a high density polyethylene and an additional polyethylene in a range of from 90% to 100%, by weight of the multilayer polyethylene-based film.
