Abstract

An apparatus for manufacturing an electrode plate and a method for manufacturing an electrode plate are disclosed. In some implementations, an apparatus for manufacturing an electrode plate includes: a supply unit configured to supply an electrode plate; a pressing unit configured to press at least a portion of the electrode plate supplied from the supply unit; and a cutting unit configured to cut at least a portion of the electrode plate supplied from the pressing unit, wherein the pressing unit includes at least one pressing member configured to come into contact with the electrode plate, and the at least one pressing member has irregularities on a surface thereof.
