An additive manufactured product comprising a plurality of printed layers of a partially or completely amorphous thermoplastic composition wherein adjacent layers of the plurality of layers are bonded by interfacial crystallites extending between the adjacent layers. The additive manufactured product can be made by a method including steps of additive manufacturing a composition comprising a partially or completely amorphous thermoplastic composition to form an additive manufactured article, immersing the additive manufactured article in one or more solvents in which the additive manufactured article is essentially insoluble at a temperature of at least 20° C. and below a boiling temperature of the one or more solvents to swell the additive manufactured article; and drying the additive manufactured article after the immersing step to form the additive manufactured product.
