Abstract
A lens protector assembly includes an outer housing and an inner housing. The outer housing includes a fluid inlet and an frustoconical inner surface defining a cavity. The fluid inlet defines an axis. The inner housing is coupled to the outer housing and concentrically disposed within the cavity, the inner housing includes a frustoconical outer surface. The axis is parallel to a tangent of the outer surface. The inner and outer surfaces collectively define a frustoconical fluid flow path in communication with the fluid inlet.

A lens protector assembly for a laser having a lens, the lens protector assembly comprising:
- an outer housing including a fluid inlet and a frustoconical inner surface defining a cavity, the fluid inlet defining an axis;
- and
- an inner housing coupled to the outer housing and concentrically disposed within the cavity, the inner housing including a frustoconical outer surface,
- wherein the axis is parallel to a tangent of the outer surface, and
- wherein the inner and outer surfaces collectively define a frustoconical fluid flow path in communication with the fluid inlet.
