Mold

A mold for continuous casting of metals, the mold comprising:

• a mold body in form of a mold tube or a mold plate, said mold body comprising an undercut region bounded by undercut clamping webs which are formed on a rear side of the mold body;
• a supporting structure comprising a through-opening facing away from the mold body, said through-opening designed to partially widen in a length region extending from a contact surface of the through-opening toward the mold body to form an overflow channel;
• and
• a connector designed to fasten the mold body to the supporting structure, said connector comprising a threaded bolt and a T-slot nut which is inserted into the undercut region of the mold body and designed for threaded engagement by the threaded bolt, wherein, when the T-slot nut is inserted, a cooling gap remains in the undercut region and extends from a groove base of the cooling gap to a rear side of the T-slot nut, which rear side faces away from the supporting structure, said connector further comprising a T-slot spacer sleeve which, in an installed position, is clamped by a screw head of the threaded bolt to the mold body, said T-slot spacer sleeve comprising a radially outwardly projecting collar designed to engage the contact surface of the through-opening, wherein the T-slot spacer sleeve in the installation position is supported on a side of the clamping webs which side faces away from the cooling gap.
